I've seen all three of roberto rodriguez' red riding hood movies, and have to say that this is by far the best one... the other two are so so, but this one is amazing! And I really mean it. You know how kids today are so picky and bitchy about everything, so they probably wont appreciate this movie, but for the fans of campy, fun packed movies this is a gift from the gods. The plot isnt really important in this kind of movies, and I think the title is more than enough to imagine the kind of movie this is. Lets see.. what can I say about this movie? Of course, production values are awful, acting is terrible and the story is as dumb as possible, but who cares? you have the funniest big bad wolf ever (played by manuel "loco" valdes, a legend in Mexican comedy), a skunk in love with a parrot, a bunch of woodsmen who seem to be in love with lil' Red, the midget looking tom thumb, the tackiest fairy godmother ever put on film, dressed as a white trash girl on her sweet sixteen birthday party (keep checking on her magic wand) and of course, the monsters... a LOT of monsters, from a crazy robot to a fire breathing dragon, commanded by and evil witch and her not-so-evil sister.
If you like really bad movies, give this one a chance, believe me, its one of the worst ever made, and that's what makes it so special.
