German Drama/Comedy

Wolfang Woeller (played by Fritz Wepper, US viewer may know him from "Cabaret" with Liza Minelli) is the mayor of the bavarian (Germany) smalltown Kaltenthal who want make money with any projects like selling the Abbey Kaltenthal and to building a congress centre.

Sister Lotte (called by the mayor: the black mamba) (Jutta Speidel) is returning from a mission work in Africa to the Abbey Kaltenhal and is not really happy about. One Reason is her mother superior which she don't like. But much more trouble makes Mayjor Woeller. Sister Lotte is ready to fight against him with help of the sisters of the Abbey: Sister Felicitas (she's smoking and drinking all the time), Sister Agnes (has a Chicken called Lady Gaga.

The Abbey needs all the time money and discover in their dark cellar a secret mixtur for a Klostergeist (Schnapps). Also they find a treasure map, and, and...

But Lotte also has friends in the Rathaus: Frau Laban (called Mata Hari) - Mayjors secretary.

Other characters are Sister Hildegard (who has success as crime-novel writer), Herr Stolpe (who's in love to Sister Hildegard and is helping with her novels), Bishop Rossbauer (a good friend to mother superior).

The german TV Serie is now running in their 12th Season and a running gag is the last episode of each season, when they organize a Charity-Event with Talent-Show (mayor Woellers is appearing each time with a special show!).

Each Season has 13 episodes and lives with their actors/actress, very good (and funny) dialogues/stories.

The DVD contains only german soundtrack. Screen-Format is 16:9 and Sound in Stereo.
