I got this dvd for my mom. She's a lover of quartet music and alot of times she misses when certain groups come to town or close to town. I deceided to surprise her by getting this dvd and she was. She played it over and over again. It was a very lengthy full concert that took her right into the concert as if she was there.

Very good productions mostly from NOTTY & Cheka. 30 Tracks with the most important people of today`s reggaeton: Cheka, NOTTY, Don Omar, Baby Rasta y Gringo, Zion y Lennox, Yaga y Mackie, Ivy Queen.......
The Tracks are mixed into another so there is no silence between them which is very good. I think it is a clean version because some words of 2 Tracks are "reversed". I don`t speek spanish so it`s OK to me.
When you buy this CD don`t buy "Reggaeton Biggest Hits" because all of these Tracks (except 2) are also on the "heavy hitters" because it is the same label "New Records".

In this movie, a young Tom Berenger portrays a young man in Post-World War II Hungary who falls in and out of love with numerous older women. His character's infatuation with older women begins as a child during the war, when he loses his virginity to a middle-aged prostitute. From there, he moves to Budapest to go to college, and moves in with an older woman, portrayed by Karen Black. They fall in love with each other. Then the woman's best friend, portrayed by Canadian stage actress and artist Marilyn Lightstone, joins them in social events. Eventually, Ms. Lightstone's character seduces Berenger's character, and in a memorable scene of seduction, she entices him to have sex with her on the living room floor. But Ms. Black's character catches them in the act, and she breaks up with Berenger's character and kicks him out. Berenger then falls in love with a female resistance leader during the 1956 Hungarian Crackdown by Russian troops and tanks. She departs for deep cover, and Berenger's character emigrates to Canada. It is there that he begins a relationship with a woman more closer to his age, portrayed by a young Helen Shaver. Eventually they engage in a erotic strip scene before having sex together. But they end up breaking up also. At the end of the film, Berenger is now a teacher, who sets up a date with a younger female student, and the film ends. The eroticism is very good in this film, but it leaves you wanting more. For me, Marilyn Lightstone, despite her little screen time, stole the spotlight with her eroticism and her sexy body. Helen Shaver shows that she is willing to put out in a movie, also. She would go on to even greater levels of eroticism in the movie "Desert Hearts". Unfortunately, Tom Berenger never lived up to the potential to be a "leading man" actor that this film showed promise of when it was made. Instead, he was confined to character roles, such as in the movie "Gettysburg". But this film gives the viewer a glimpse of what Tom Berenger could have been had mainstream Hollywood had given him his chance to shine.

Dream's a Dream Review

Of the two home video concert releases I have (the other being "Live At La Luna") this is the better. Recorded in early 87, this is a rare glimpse into what LPD once was and what really got the ball rolling as it pertains to their underground success and following.

First and foremost, if you're looking for a big-budget, flashy stage affair, then you must look away from the Legendary Pink Dots' live shows; this show is raw, rather intimate, and mostly there for the people that love their earliest music. It is one camera angle for the whole duration, with a few zooms here and there. While that may sound like a turn off for a DVD you're considering paying X amount of dollars to see, the camera work itself is of a professional level; it all looks good and seldom a shaky angle in this thing, and it hardly ever focuses on one aspect of the band, usually capturing the performance as a whole.

Great selections of songs here, too. Plasma Twins really gets things moving, The Hill is an odd little ditty from "Asylum" that rarely gets any love but it is a very good performance, and Echo Police works just fine, to start off this epic set that just gets progressively better and better. So much in fact that it culminates with a completely amazing performance of "I Am The Way, The Truth, The Light" that has to be seen to be believed.

All in all, not for everyone (of course, it's LPD), or even the casual LPD fan. But, if you're already familiar with their music and love the early stuff, this is a must buy.
